Waitsburg Cellars 2013 Boushey Vineyard Three White, Yakima Valley, $18
By Great Northwest Wine on October 3, 2015
One of the region’s most affordable expressions from this acclaimed vineyard, this Rhône Valley-style blend of three grapes rarely seen in the Northwest — Grenache Blanc, Marsanne and Picpoul — is a clean and dry offering of Bosc pear and Golden Delicious apple. Richness on the midpalate transitions to a finish of Meyer lemon and minerality that bodes well with steamed mussels or a summer salad.
