Two barrels of Malbec juice from one of Washington state’s most fascinating and promising young vineyards yields amazing results in the hands of Ste. Michelle product Jessica Munnell. The barrel program of 26 months casts aromas of caramel, mocha, blackberry, dark cherry, cola, black olive, rose petal and menthol. The fluid brings a spoonful of Marionberry pie and blueberry juice, which are framed by firm tannins and capped by blackberry, black pepper and vanilla extract.
