Gary Cunningham grows a number of varieties in the Snake River Valley’s Eagle Foothills, but he also reaches into neighboring states to slake the thirst of his expanding customer base. This white grape native to the Rhone Valley in France carries a fascinating core of tropical and orchard fruit flavors in the nose and the flavors, backed by sleek food-friendly acidity and a finish of pear and lychee. It earned a silver medal at the 2015 Idaho Wine Competition.
