Knight Hill Winery 2013 Two Coyote Vineyard Riesling, Yakima Valley, $16
By Great Northwest Wine on November 13, 2015
Terry and Anne Harrison take pride in their program with red Rhône varieties, but they also live near some of the best sites for Riesling in the cradle of the Washington wine industry. There’s a lot to like with this, starting with pretty aromas of Bartlett pear, Jolly Rancher Green Apple Candy, lime peel and caramel corn. What awaits on the clean palate is richness with flavors of sugared pink grapefruit, Golden Delicious apple and fresh spearmint as solid acidity gives it good length.
