Township 7 Vineyards & Winery 2014 Unoaked Chardonnay, Okanagan Valley, $17
By Great Northwest Wine on December 13, 2015
With her first vintage as a winemaker in the Okanagan Valley, Mary McDermott has established a reputation for a graceful white program. Fruit-forward aromas of Ambrosia Salad and honeysuckle hint at her use of clone 76, while the wealth of yellow grapefruit, lemon juice and citrus pith show signs of clone 76 material. Suggested pairings include pasta with cream sauce, grilled citrus chicken or barbecued spot prawns with a squirt of lemon.
