Best Buy! In the 1990s, Lee Traynham took control of this peaceful setting near the Oregon town or Rogue River and began to transform it orchards to vineyards. Restoration of the historic Rock Point Hotel has turned it into the tasting room and showcase for the wines by partner/grower Rob and Jolee Wallace and their team. Their non-vintage blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah comes with aromas of black cherry, cola, Nestle Quik and saddle leather. It’s a crowd-pleasing, fun drink of black currant, blueberry juice and Jolly Rancher grape candy with little influence of oak and a kiss of sweetness. Break this out when the backyard party and grill heats up for steak, sliders and brats.
