yamhill-valley-vineyards-rose-pinots-nv-bottleStephen Cary and Ariel Eberle continue their winsome rosé work with this now traditional estate blend of Pinot Noir (80%) and Pinot Blanc from the second-oldest vineyard in the McMinnville American Viticultural Area. Cropped at 3.5 tons per acre and plucked at 22 Brix, they bottle this stainless-steel beauty within five months of harvest. It offers charming fruity aromas of cherry, raspberry and strawberry-rhubarb compote with a slice of peach. Inside, while the residual sugar is listed at 0.9%, it’s quite dry as the flavors mimic dusty pink raspberry, white strawberry and red peppercorns, capped nicely by a nibble of Rainier cherry. Enjoy with turkey or Cornish game hen.
