Armonéa Winery 2014 Wine Country Farm Estate Pinot Noir, Dundee Hills, $40
By Great Northwest Wine on October 18, 2016
The late Joan Davenport named her Willamette Valley hilltop winery for the Spanish word describing harmony, and winemaker Alberto Alcazar handles these Wine Country Farm wines when he’s not in the cellar at Ken Wright Cellars. Aromas of cherry cola, plum skins, pomegranate, toast and smoky leather lead to Dundee Hills tones of bright red fruit flavors. Strawberry jam, raspberry and pomegranate give this many of layers of easy enjoyment with delicious acidity.
