Cavatappi Winery 2016 Pinot Grigio, Columbia Valley, $13
By Great Northwest Wine on January 2, 2018
One of the top sites for Pinot Gris in Washington, Willow Crest near Prosser in the Yakima Valley, gave birth to this mouthwatering white that spent just three months in tank after Peter Dow’s team finished harvesting it Sept. 9. Tropical fruit and fresh-cut grass in the nose leads to Asian pear and lime flavors. Enjoy this Italian-themed Pinot Gris with things from the sea.
