Ryan Patrick Wines 2016 Olsen Brothers Vineyard Riesling, Yakima Valley, $12
By Great Northwest Wine on March 17, 2018
Jeremy Santo, a native of Prosser, Wash., dipped into nearby Olsen Brothers Vineyard in the Yakima Valley to craft this marvelous white wine. Aromas of limestone, honeydew melon and appealing honeysuckle gives way to flavors of spice and ripe apricot, with bright acidity balancing the touch of residual sugar. This is a wine with great structure and mouth feel that captured a gold and best of class at the 2017 Wenatchee Wine Awards. It’s also marks the second straight vintage for this wine to earn our top rating.
Rating: Outstanding!
Alcohol: 12%
