Page Cellars 2011 Syrah, Columbia Valley, $37
By Great Northwest Wine on March 24, 2018
Referred to as the “silver top Syrah,” Woodinville pilot/winemaker Jim Page has traditionally sourced this Syrah from historic Klipsun Vineyard. The work back at his Warehouse District crushpad and cellar unleashes smoky and savory notes of charcuterie and black olive with plums and black currant jam. Crunchy acidity and chewy tannins allow for long enjoyment of the blue fruitiness and black licorice.
