By on April 28, 2018

the conqueror winery red blend nv bottle - The Conqueror Winery 2015 Red Blend, Horse Heaven Hills, $27Walla Walla winemaker Bill Murray spearheaded this Precept brand as part of his duties at Canoe Ridge Vineyard, and he saw the doubling of the Red Blend program from the 2014 vintage to 2015. There’s an approachable theme to the notes of black cherry, sweetened blueberry, orange oil, violets, Douglas fir tips and light chocolate. The balance of oak, ample acidity and mild tannins makes this an easy, straight-forward drink. These wines are available in the Northwest at Albertsons and sister grocer Safeway.
