Of the dozen varieties planted across owner Ed Kerwin’s 31-acre vineyard not far from the Oregon-California border, Pinot Noir represents a significance portion. Kathe Kaigas’s final crush for Belle Fiore led to this decorated bottling that appeals to fans of Burgundy. Bing cherry, saddle leather and moist earthy tones pick up some barrel influence with hints of chocolate and coffee. They lead to similar flavors, joined by dried strawberry and nicely managed cherry-skin tannins, capped by plum and mint tea.
