Chateau Faire Le Pont Winery 2014 Confluence, Washington, $46

By on February 14, 2019

A classic Bordeaux-style red blend leading with Cabernet Sauvignon, this is a big wine built for the long haul and meant to be enjoyed on a special occasion over a great meal. It opens with aromas of black currants, cherry pie and a hint of toasted almond and cedar, followed by flavors of plum sauce, black cherry and black pepper note in the big finish. This won a gold medal in the 2018 Wenatchee wine competition.
