Inconceivable Wines 2014 After the Floods Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley $25
By Great Northwest Wine on March 20, 2019

While the Middleton family recently sold their valued-minded Buried Cane brand to Vintage Wine Estates, they maintain vineyards in California and the Walla Walla Valley continue to produce wine under their flagship Cadaretta brand as well as this bi-state Inconceivable label. Cadaretta’s Southwind Vineyard above Milton-Freewater, Ore., and 10 other sites factor into this rich and medium-bodied Cab that’s loaded with black cherry, blackcurrant and chocolate, backed by Earl Grey tea tannins and light toast from a 23-month oak program.
