Browne Family Vineyards 2016 Cabernet Franc, Columbia Valley, $40

By on September 3, 2019

Waterbrook winemaker John Freeman pulls from Precept CEO Andrew Browne’s Browne Estate Vineyard in the Walla Walla Valley for the lion’s share of this stunning Cab Franc. The essence of the variety – fruit, herbs and spice – is found within this bottling. Dried currant, horehound and raspberry acidity come nicely balanced in this full-bodied expression built for robust meats, such as game, or rosemary ravioli.
