Washington Hills Winery 2017 Dry Riesling, Washington State, $10
By Great Northwest Wine on April 20, 2020

Best Buy! Seattle-based Precept and director of winemaking Hal Landvoigt chose to produce and label three distinctly different styles of Riesling from the 2017 vintage with this dry version for Washington Hills. Clean aromas of apple pie and lime lead into a bright delivery of Asian pear, starfruit and dried apricot. This accounts for about 10% of Landvoigt’s Riesling production from the 2017 vintage for Washington Hills. Enjoy with a plate of hard cheese, dried fruit and water crackers or Petit Beurre biscuits.
