There were no wine sightings on their video for Pontoon, but American country quartet of Little Big Town has enjoyed its relationship with Walla Walla winemaker John Freeman under their 4 Cellars brand for Precept Wine. He makes two styles of Cab for the group, and this is a crowd-pleaser that also brings some complexity. Black cherry, plum and chocolate aromas pick up some malt and fresh dill. The structure is creamy and fleshy as nicely managed plum-skin tannins and cherry juice are capped by a touch of eucalyptus. One does not need to be a member of the LBT wine club to acquire some of these wines because they also can be found through Total Wine & More. Suggested pairings include grilled meat or pasta.
