Some of the Washington’s most historic vineyards, including Klipsun on Red Mountain and Sagemoor Farm sites Bacchus, Dionysus and Weinbau, as well as estate sites in the Walla Walla Valley — Ferguson and Seven Hills — traditionally factor into this widely available example of Pacific Northwest Merlot. The nose of Bing cherry, blueberry and fresh-baked brownies transitions into similar dark blue fruit flavors and nicely managed fine-grained tannins, which are capped by a blend of elderberry and Western serviceberry.
