David Nemarnik’s vineyard on Laurel Ridge west of Sherwood, Ore., entered its third decade of life with this vintage, and this rosé serves as a delicious example. The strawberry-rhubarb color brings hints of strawberry-rhubarb compote, nectarine and pink peppercorn. On the palate, it features ripe, but not sweet, flavors of strawberry preserves, blood orange and Craisin. Suggested pairings range from strawberry and goat cheese salad with arugula and balsamic reduction, lamb burgers, grilled shellfish and strawberry shortcake.
