Precept CEO Andrew Browne and his marketing crew certainly keep John Freeman’s team busy with five styles of rosé that poured at any of the three BFV tasting rooms across Washington state, including the new spot in Tacoma’s Proctor District. This vintage of Grenache rosé from Canyon Vineyard Ranch near Prosser, was picked Sept. 26, and it’s Provence in style with its pale color and aromas of Asian pear, apricot and lemon. The flavor profile is a rather delicious match that includes pink strawberry and watermelon rind notes that combine for a refreshing drink not unlike a Pinot Gris. Suggested pairings include an assortment of cheese, salads or seafood.
