Bryn Mawr Vineyards 2019 Sparkling Rosé, Willamette Valley, $28
By Great Northwest Wine on March 25, 2021
This Eola-Amity Hills property toasted a new tasting room during the 2019 vintage, and Rachel Rose, who produces several examples of sparkling wine, has created a rather delightful example of bubbles with this eclectic and estate-driven blend of Pinot Noir (52%), Pinot Gris (28%) and Tempranillo (17%) with a touch of Maréchal Foch. Its fun color, crowncap and nice ring of bubbles brings aromas of strawberry freezer jam, raspberry and vanilla cream. Essentially, it’s a snappy and clean sparkler marked by flavors of golden raspberry, boysenberry and pink strawberry.
