Lisa Warr-King Packer works with four barrels of Cab from two of the state’s most decorated growers in Scott Williams at Kiona and Marshall Edwards at Quintessence, and the results are predictably stunning from the Woodinville winemaker. The nose of cherry jam and vanilla include hints of garam masala and dusty herb that lead to a rich entry of Marionberry as cherry skin tannins and cherry juice combine for an approachable, nicely balanced Cab off Red Mountain with a lingering finish.
