For the second straight year, Chuck Jackson proves that his work with Pinot Noir off his site near the town of Sedro-Woolley deserves to be in the discussion among the Northwest’s best. It’s properly Pinot with a slightly Burgundian approach via its restrained yet bright fruit akin to Montmorency cherry and chokecherry, lovely tannins and ground cumin. “I’d drink it in large quantities and not feel bad about it,” one judge quipped.
