BacoVino 2020 Rosé, Columbia Valley, $21
By Great Northwest Wine on March 26, 2022
Seattle-area winemaker Randy Brooks works with Syrah from Katharine Leone Vineyard on the Wahluke Slope and Suhadolnik Vineyard in the Yakima Valley for this skillfully crafted and lightly tinted rosé. A broad range of fruity aromas include cantaloupe, pink strawberry, honeydew melon and dried apricot. Inside, it spoons out golden raspberry and white peach, bringing a bit of fleshiness to the mouthfeel that’s capped by dried pear. Suggested pairings include shellfish, chicken wings, tofu, herbed goat cheese and avocado salad.
