Woodinville dentist/winemaker Kit Singh works with four vineyards from four distinct viticultural areas for this Right Bank-inspired blend of Merlot (67%), Cabernet Franc (17%), Malbec (8%) and Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s an illustrious cross-section of Washington featuring Upland (Snipes Mountain), Dineen (Rattlesnake Hills), Weinbau (Wahluke Slope) and Les Collines in the Walla Walla Valley, and the winemaking involved 50% whole-berry fermentation and 18 months in French oak. There’s plenty of enticement from the nose of blueberry milk shake, cherry pie and strawberry Twizzlers. On the palate, there’s pleasing richness on the entry followed by a big and juicy structure filled with Bing cherry and plum skins that’s cellarworthy.
