This holiday, Muret-Gaston wants to help you build memories and new traditions with your family. Every year, millions of children across the world write their hope-filled letters to Saint Nick, dreaming of toys, games, and wonder. Stamps are licked and envelopes are sealed, and then the waiting begins.
But imagine their eyes when Christmas morning, along with gifts and joy, they find a rustic typed letter from the Man in Red himself!
On Sunday, Dec. 17, join us for our Letters from Santa workshop, where Walla Walla poet extraordinaire Till Gwinn will be leading a two hour class on poetry and letter-writing with an emphasis on bringing to life the memories and achievements of your child (or loved one) from this year passed, all typed on classic typewriters with an assortment of festive parchment to choose from. He will guide you in the process of organizing and expressing your thoughts and memories of their achievements through 2023, in a fun and cheeky way just like Mr. Kringle. Be sure to grab a glass of Muret-Gaston wine to help elevate your creative abilities as well!
And don’t worry if you find yourself child-free, this event is for everyone! Work with Till to compose a letter to your partner, best friend, parents, whomever you love. We at Muret-Gaston believe the magic of letter writing and receiving is one of the most powerful forces in the world. In fact, it’s how we found our name in the first place! So join us 12/17/23 from 4pm to 6pm, it’s going to be a very merry time!
