Chef Christian and Janelle Ephrem have been delighting us with their impeccable cuisine for over 3 years, and we’re thrilled to reveal their upcoming brick-and-mortar restaurant in Portland. Drawing inspiration from Chef Christian’s Ethiopian heritage and the bounty of the Pacific Northwest, New Flower promises a culinary journey like no other. Experience a fusion of techniques and ingredients paying homage to the Ancient Kingdom of Aksum, with vibrant plant-based dishes, succulent seafood, and expertly spiced creations. Indulge in a 5-course dinner perfectly paired with 5 exquisite wines from our Flâneur Wines portfolio, led by Assistant Winemaker Anthony Sereni alongside Chef Christian. Tickets are $175 per person ($150 for members), with only 32 seats available for the single seating at 6pm.
