The Yamhill-Carlton AVA annual spring tasting is an opportunity to take a deep dive in this Willamette Valley appellation. Producers include Belle Pente Vineyards, EIEIO, Elk Cove Vineyards, Ken Wright Cellars, and Landlines Estates.
Each winery will pour three wines, including library wines, such as Belle Pente’s 2012 Estate Reserve Pinot Noir and Stag Hollow’s 2014 Reserve Pinot Noir. Sparkling wines include the sparkling dry Riesling from MonksGate Vineyards and a pétillant naturel Sauvignon Blanc by La Randonnée Wines.
Participating restaurants include Cuvée, Earth & Sea, the forthcoming Carlton restaurant Orocios, Park & Main, The Horse Radish and The Joel Palmer House.
