At Eternal Wines, its biggest event of the year — the fourth annual Pride Festival — is scheduled for Saturday, June 1.
Winemaker/owner/certified sommelier Brad Binko will feature Walla Walla Valley vendors, food trucks, live music and dancing until 2 a.m. More information will be provided as the event gets closer.
“Last year, we hosted over 700 guests all day, this year we are going for 1,000!” Binko says. “Help us make our goal and spread the word. Full details to come, but this event will go until 2 a.m. like last year! Bring your dancing shoes”
Eternal Wines views itself as a “Safe Space.”
“Please note that we support the LGBTQ+ community and rights,” Binko says. “We are happy you have great taste in wine; your taste in a partner is your choice.”
Eternal Wines also retails Pride shirts and donates 25% of sales on the shirts to Children’s Home Society of Washington’s Triple Point of Walla Walla, which is a local group for LGBTQ youth and allies.
