This is a big weekend for Oregon Chardonnay in wine country with the Oregon Chardonnay Celebration at the Allison Inn and Spa. We are a featured winery at the event and decided to have our own chardonnay celebration at the tasting room too.
Lees Vineyard is our little 3 acre gem adjacent to our Eagle’s Watch Vineyard and produces stunning Chardonnays. Ken & Celia acquired land from their beloved neighbor and veteran Lee Anderson. Lee put his heart and soul into managing this postage stamp parcel where he farmed and raised retired horses, mules and donkeys. Ken says, “Lee had a heart of gold and would nearly fall off his horse waving at you when you passed by!” In his honor, Rain Dance donates $10 for every bottle of Lee’s Chardonnay sold to Home for our Troops. Chardonnays serve with complimentary truffle popcorn.
