One of Oregon’s oldest wineries remains one of its best. Second-generation winemaker Luisa Ponzi has crafted a superb and reasonably priced Pinot Noir using grapes from estate and other sustainably grown vineyards in the northern Willamette Valley. This opens with stunning aromas of fresh clove, bay rum, raspberry and lavender, followed by flavors of cranberry, cherry, strawberry, raspberry and fresh sage. It has beautiful acidity and mild tannins. Pair with pork tenderloin, chicken cordon bleu or grilled salmon.
