Best Buy! Two of the Yakima Valley’s older sites – Cowan and Pleasant – were harvested in late October, hence the description of this Riesling. However, it drinks akin to an off-dry Riesling, despite the residual sugar of 7%. The International Riesling Foundation Taste Profile shows it on the left side of “sweet,” and it hints at a dusty country road lined by nectarines and apricots, and the flavors of canned pineapple make it an easy quaffer, especially when served with a good chill. These wines are available at select Total Wines & More outlets.
