This brand has been dynamite for Dusted Valley Vintners in Walla Walla, and in-law winemakers Corey Braunel and Chad Johnson found the secret sauce for this bottling — adding 13% Syrah. Aromas of warm berry compote, cherry, dark chocolate, fresh caramel and apple wood smoke funnel into a very juicy and fruity drink. There’s a rich entry of blackberry, cherry, boysenberry and chocolate with modest tannins, while the backing of blueberry provides pleasing, long-lasting acidity.
