Best Buy! Weekly hand-stirring of barrels for six months, combined with 24% of juice fermented in stainless steel, helps explain the complex aromas of Golden Delicious apple, lemon pepper, clarified butter and dusty minerality. There’s much more of the oak influence showing on the rounded palate, which brings hints of buttered English muffin along with apple and apricot. Lemony acidity and toasted oak makes for good length. Consider serving this with crab cakes, pork chops or roasted chicken.
