Best Buy! Precept and Hal Landvoigt, director of winemaking, develop this two-wine brand — Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir — specifically to pair with seafood and the bounty of the Pacific Northwest. Here’s an excellent example with Pinot Gris, starting with bright aromas of Gala apple, orange, a squir of lemon, President Lincoln rose and clove. The drink opens with superb acidity that carries flavors of apple, dried pineapple and lime, an assortment that provides good length with a nearly bone-dry finish.
