One of Washington’s top vineyards recently began producing its own Red Mountain wines with an early focus on Rhône varieties. Their interpretation with Viognier starts with aromas of beautiful tropical notes, orange, butterscotch candy, baked pear and toast. That toasted profile continues onto the palate, along with baked apple, orangy acidity and citrus pith.
