Gamache Vintners 2013 Estate Riesling, Columbia Valley, $18
By Great Northwest Wine on April 11, 2014
Last year’s rollercoaster of a vintage in the Pacific Northwest helped produce this off-dry Riesling that opens with tones of ripe Bartlett pear, peaches, orange oil and lime. Residual sugar finished out at 3.2%, so serve this well-chilled for brunch, the patio or with spicy Asian fare or grilled halibut. Look for this at the Gamache Vintners tasting room in Prosser, Total Wines in Washington and wine shops around the state.
