Rebecca Pittock-Shouldis continues to attract attention for her Pinot Noir Blanc on Savannah Ridge, and for the second straight vintage, this delightful rosé is a by-product of that. Late pressings for that program forms the base of her pink, which was picked Sept. 22 and opens with remarkable color akin to the heart of Hermiston watermelon. What follows are whiffs of Bing cherry, watermelon, apricot, dried plum and flecks of minerality. The drink is bright, refreshing and nicely balanced with strawberry/rhubarb compote, Red Haven peach and dried apricot.
