This year, the Morrison family celebrated the 20th anniversary of planting their vineyard on the four-generation farm in Walla Walla, and 10 years ago they opened a tasting room in their hometown. This Rhône variety is the only white wine they grow and produce, and their 2 acres made for aromas of orange Creamsicle with fig, banana, lychee nut, vanilla and clove. Its beauty continues with the pour of orange oil and lemon/lime flavors, followed by a touch of roundness on the midpalate and crisp acidity in the finish. It merited a gold medal at the 2014 Walla Walla Valley Wine Competition.
