One of the Idaho wine industry’s most catchy names also is a fun and tasty red wine, made by the talented Melanie Krause for Gregg and Mary Alger. This easy-drinking blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah from one of the Pacific Northwest’s rising stars shows aromas of plum, blackberry and black pepper with toasted oak and baking spices. It’s rich and dark on the palate with flavors of more black fruit, a juicy midpalate, chocolaty tannins and a beautiful finish of roasted coffee. This earned a gold medal at the 2014 Idaho Wine Competition.
