As the reputation of this family-operated winery grows beyond Washington’s Grays Harbor, more of the state’s top vineyards are represented in the lineup of wines. Here, the Yakima Valley’s multi-generation Newhouse family produced the grapes for this fun and inviting entry-level wine. Perfumy mouthwatering aromas and flavors of sweet tropical fruit include apricot, peach and rosewater. It’s very much a brunch wine at 16% alcohol, but at the winery’s Farm to Fork Restaurant, they suggest enjoying this with Lavender Crème Brulée. And a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this bottling goes to the Northwest Carriage Museum in nearby Raymond.
