Rulo Winery 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon, Red Mountain, 35
By Great Northwest Wine on February 3, 2015
The longtime relationship with the Williams family on Red Mountain deepened this vintage with a Cab that’s 100 percent from Kiona Vineyard. It comes with a nose that’s dense with sweet cherries, blackberry, blueberry, plum, lime peel, black licorice and pipe tobacco. Black cherry, red currants and pie cherry flavors fill the mouth, along with some of the power that comes so often from Red Mountain reds.
