Goose Ridge Vineyards 2013 Riesling, Columbia Valley, $14
By Great Northwest Wine on March 21, 2015
Best Buy! The Monson family made Riesling a part of its 2,220-acre vineyard, first planted in the late 1990s near Richland, Wash., and this release comes in an off-dry style. The nose of orange Creamsicle, lemon curd and Granny Smith apple turns into crowd-pleasing flavors of pear, peach and apple with baking spices. There’s ample acidity to balance the residual sugar of 1.7%. Enjoy with with a bowl of pho.
