Seattle Sodo winemaker Tom Stageland creates a Sagemoor Farms Sem-Sauv with barrel-influenced Semillon from Dionysus Vineyard and stainless-steel fermented Sauvignon Blanc off sister site Bacchus. Its rich and oaky nose offers hints of apple blossom, cooked mango, papaya, lime and lemon bitters. On the pour, there’s a rich and oaky theme that includes Bosc pear. On the midpalate, juicy tropical fruit takes over, leading to a cleansing rush of citrus acidity with a finish of lime peel.
