Seattle Sodo winemaker Tom Stangeland first dedicated himself to a career as a furniture craftsman, and his use of new French oak with Sagemoor Farms’ Bacchus Vineyard shows a rich use of wood from start to finish. The aromas hint at heavy toast and butter with banana and grilled pear. It comes with a buttery and toasty approach to the palate featuring flavors of Asian pear and Spanish almond, balanced by solid acidity and a finish of lemon oil. These wines are available at merchants such as Arista Wine, Artisan Wine Gallery, All Things Wine, Black Door Wine, Chocolate Box, City Cellars, Compass Wines, Esquin, Full Throttle Bottles, Melrose Grill, Olympic Cellars, Palace Kitchen, Pike & Western, University Village QFC, The Grape Choice, The Wine Alley, West Seattle Cellars and Wine World.
