Bergdorf Cellars 2013 Double Cabernet, Columbia Valley, $40
By Great Northwest Wine on January 22, 2018
This Leavenworth-based winery has crafted a Bordeaux-style blend that’s half Cabernet Sauvignon and half Cabernet Franc, offering aromas and flavors of blackberry, black currants, blueberries and even a hint a black tar. It’s backed by firm tannins, which give way to a long finish. This won a gold medal and best in class at the 2017 Wenatchee Wine Awards.
