Twenty months in French oak results in a nose of toffee and coffee powder with blue fruit and a dusting of white pepper. There’s richness to the entry of plum and blueberry, backed by pomegranate juiciness that finishes with a long and strong tug of tannins. This marks the first summer for the Nine Hats tasting room in SoDo, and this Cab screams for a slice of Gran Turismo at Nine Pies Pizzeria next door.
