Browne Family Vineyards 2016 Chardonnay, Columbia Valley, $30
By Great Northwest Wine on May 27, 2018
Seattle-based Precept provides a wide expression of Chardonnay in Washington, and this young release under CEO Andrew Browne’s label employs a barrel program of 62% new French oak. Dusty pear and floral notes of apple blossom and alyssum lead to rich and elegant flavors of white peach, lemon butter cookie and orange Creamsicle, backed by blanched almond, lemon pith and Bosc pear.
