Massachusetts transplant Rachel Joy worked again with historic grower Dick Boushey for her Provence approach to rosé made with Syrah. Limited skin contact resulted in a lighter style than her 2017 debut, leading to a light salmon color that brings aromas of tutti frutti and pink strawberry. Flavors of dried strawberry and raspberry gain complexity with a nibble of peach skin in the delicate background. Her wines are available in the Seattle area at Purple Cafe, Full Pull Wines and PCC Community Markets.
